By using a wide converter the focal length is multiplied by the magnification of the converter on the wide side. Zooming is possible and the F-number on the master lens remains unchanged. M.O.D. is decreased.
The Wide Attachment converts only the wide end of the lens by the magnification of the attachement. Zooming is not possible, but the F-Number on the master lens remains unchanged. The Focus is adjustable only by the macro lever of master lens located near the lens mount.

Ratio converter maintains proper field of view on switchable 16:9 4:3 format cameras.
