Recognises portraits by detecting the faces quickly in the frame and optimising focus, brightness and white balance.


Landscape

Scenic shots such as mountains and buildings are automatically recognised. Colours of the sky, forests, and flower fields are captured vividly and with depth.


Night

For low-light and night scenarios, the shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.


Macro

Macro mode adjusts the focusing position so that every detail is captured on even the smallest of subjects accurately.


Night Portrait

When photographing people at night or in low light, SR AUTO optimises flash range, shutter speed, and exposure of the portraits, while capturing smooth and luminous backgrounds.


Backlit Portrait

Optimises brightness so that people's faces are perfectly exposed background is not bleached out.


Perfect Portraits

Face Detection can identify up to ten faces in the frame and optimises focus and exposure to ensure perfectly exposed faces. Plus, auto red-eye removal automatically removes red-eye for flawless people pictures.

Tracking Auto Focus

Ideal when photographing fast moving subject or action shots. Half press the shutter button and Tracking AF will tracking the subject and keep it in focus. As soon as you fully press the shutter button you will capture a photo with the subject perfectly in focus.

Natural Light & with Flash

Can't decide whether it's best to use flash? Choose this mode, press the shutter and automatically capture the same scene twice: once with flash and one without. Later choose one or keep both!

Mode Wheel & Scene Position

HD LogoAll the camera's shooting modes are located on a convienient scroll wheel on the back of the camera so you can quickly and easily select the mode you require. 

Within Scene Position mode (SP) you can access 15 pre-programmed scene modes which will optimise settings for the subject matter and shooting conditions. Try them out and get creative!

Portrait

Use to take adult portrait shots, skin tones are softened and it enhances the overall natural look.


Baby Mode

Perfect mode for taking pictures of babies and children. Skin tones and colours will be brought out.


Landscape

Best for shooting scenery in daylight, and capturing clear and sharp shots of buildings and mountains effectively.


Panorama

Captures and combines max 3 consecutive shots, which are saved to the memory card as a single panoramic picture.


Sport

Detects moving people or objects and employs a faster shutter speed to help you catch that perfect moment.


Night

Suitable for shooting evening and night scenes. A picture is taken with a slow shutter speed to maximise the available light.


Night (Tripod)

Use when taking night shots using a tripod.


Fireworks

Best mode to use when trying to capture images of fireworks with a slow shutter speed.


Sunset

Capture sunset scenes in vivid colour.
