Fujifilm Motion Picture has announced the 12 short films that have reached the final of the 2011 Fujifilm Shorts competition.
They are:

Each winner will collect an impressive collection of prizes including £2,000 worth of Fujifilm Motion Picture stock, a 'Rushes Package' courtesy of Technicolor, a five-day lighting hire package supplied by Panalux, a 35mm or 16mm Camera and Dolly hire package from Panavision, a studio hire package courtesy of Island Studios and an insurance package worth £1,500 which has been donated by Towergate Camersure. The British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) will welcome both the winning cinematographers of to all BSC social and technical events for a period of one year and the winners will also receive a year's free subscription to British Cinematographer Magazine.
The two winning films will be considered for a worldwide distribution deal with Future Shorts. They will also be automatically entered into the competition at the Born Shorts International Short Film Festival 2011 in Bornholm, Denmark, and will be screened as part of the festival programme.
The public will also get a chance to see the two winning films during the Rushes Short Film Festival in July 2011. The films will be screened at the ICA on The Mall in central London as part of the festival.
There are additional prizes for the cinematographers of each of the two winning films - The cinematographers of the 'Best Film' and 'Best Cinematography' will each win one free ticket to the Camerimage, International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography, in Poland, December 2011. The prize includes flights, accommodation and industry festival passes.
