The company, which launched its first photo service software back in 2003, has been part of the Fujifilm Group since 2008. It offers complete solutions for photo and print service providers that can be easily integrated into existing web-shops. With just a few mouse clicks, their consumers can use the various platforms (online, desktop and mobile devices) provided by ip.labs to design and order high value-added photo products such as photo books, calendars, greeting cards and many more. With this strategy, the company has established itself as a leading provider of white-label solutions for photo services in Europe, the US, Japan, China and many other countries.

At Photokina 2014, ip.labs will launch two new products:
  • PhotoGenie Cross for Mac (OSX) and
  • PhotoGenie Cross for Android tablets
These are the first members of a new family of cross-platform solutions from the software company and therefore have the attribute “Cross” in their name. When developing the new solutions, the software engineers at ip.labs interacted more intensively than ever before and developed a common program core for the various applications without neglecting the unique characteristics of each platform. As a result, the new applications provide, with the help of HTML5, the same strong features across the various platforms, and offer a uniform user experience. ip.labs expects this breakthrough to speed up the development of high-quality solutions for upcoming operating systems, giving its customers a clear competitive advantage in the dynamic market for mobile photo and print services.

New Starter Package for small and medium companies:

At Photokina, ip.labs also introduced its new “Starter Package”. This is ip.labs’ new entry level package - ideal for sellers with ambition but limited budgets and little need for customization. It is a complete white label turnkey e-commerce solution (online and desktop) for photo service and web-to-print. It comes with all features necessary to be successful in the print on demand business, from front-end to layout-themes to back-end operation and is – as all ip.labs solutions - fully hosted on ip.labs servers.

About ip.labs:
