ip.labs, a Fujifilm Group company, is to present the latest version of its Cross platform for B2C photo service providers at this year’s photokina in Cologne. Using Cross, e-commerce providers can let consumers create, share and order personalized photoproducts such as photobooks and calendars quickly and easily on any device or operating system.
Cross is ip.labs’ answer to the growing trend for consumers to take and use pictures on a wide range of devices. Available as a full white label e-commerce solution, Cross offers a web platform and apps for Windows, OS X, iOS and Android, with seamless interoperability between different devices. Thanks to cloud storage, users can start a project on one device and continue or complete it on another. Images can be integrated equally easily from cloud storage services and social media.
The Cross framework is based on a shared program core combined with user interfaces optimized for each device. Consumers enjoy the same user experience on all devices and can quickly and easily create personalized photoproducts. The common core means that photo service providers only need to set up products and design elements once for all platforms, saving time and expense. It also means that the developers at ip.labs can work faster to deliver more features and enhancements for all platforms at the same time, so continuously improving the Cross platform for ip.labs customers and boosting their competitiveness.
Branding is always that of the photo service provider rather than of ip.labs. Cross applications are fully adapted to customers’ requirements and workflows – and to the look and feel of their web shop and apps.
ip.labs supplies the Cross platform as a full turnkey solution including back office, hosting, account management and much more besides. Production, fulfillment and customer service can also be provided in collaboration with the Fujifilm Group.
