The EF-X500 (optional) is a powerful high-performance clip-on flash unit with the guide number of 50. It supports the wireless Master / Remote modes, allowing users to set up multi-flash lighting. Its FP lighting (high-speed synchronization) capability enables the use of fast shutter speed or wide-open aperture in flash photography for bokeh (out-of-focus) background.
The VPB-XH1, a vertical power booster grip specifically designed for the FUJIFILM X-H1, is dust and moisture-resistant, similar to the camera body. When loaded with two batteries, it increases the maximum number of frames that can be shot per charge to approximately 900. Activating its Boost Mode enhances the camera's performance including the continuous shooting speed. The grip's layout of the shutter button, focus lever and other buttons simulate that of the camera body for smooth switchover to vertical shooting. Equipped with built-in battery-charging functionality, the grip can charge bat teries, using the AC adapter supplied. It also features a headphone jack, which is useful during video recording.
When compatible software is installed on your Mac or Windows computer, you can conduct tether shooting, with the camera tethered to the computer either by cable or wirelessly, creating professional shooting environment.
FUJIFILM X Acquire is tethering software that allows users to connect FUJIFILM X-H1 to a Mac or PC via USB cable or via Wi-Fi®* for direct transferring and saving of captured images onto the computer. Users can select file types for saving onto the memory card in the camera, and for transferring and saving onto the computer either in RAW or JPEG format.
A plug-in to allow Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® users to tether the FUJIFILM X-H1 to a computer, using a USB cable or via Wi-Fi® and directly save pictures on the computer or control the camera from it. In addition to the functions available in the standard version of the Tether Shooting Plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom®, this PRO version allows you to view the photographs you have taken on your computer, and displays the Control Panel window on the computer to enable a variety of camera controls. The conventional Lightroom tethering plug-in forces you to wait until your picture is transferred, saved and registered with Lightroom before it is displayed on the screen for checking. The Control Panel window in the PRO version displays pictures faster for quick viewing. The Control Panel window also supports Live View as well as offers a multitude of camera controls such as exposure settings, bracketing, interval photography, overlay check and backup/restoration of camera settings.
Use HS-V5 for Windows® software to tether the FUJIFILM X-H1 using a USB cable or via Wi-Fi®. This enables you to directly save pictures on to a computer or control the camera from the computer. The Hyper-Utility3 software, which comes with the software, allows you to view the photographs you have taken on your computer. With the software, you can analyze images based on information it displays such as histogram, highlight warnings and tags, evaluate images by displaying two images side by side for comparison and sort/organize images with the Marker function.
The environment for processing RAW files has been enhanced to support professional workflow and facilitate advanced image creation. The FUJIFILM X-H1 offers in-camera RAW processing functionality, which is useful in active and minimal working conditions, as well as supporting the following software:
Use the RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 2.0 powered by SILKYPIX to convert RAW files taken with the FUJIFILM X-H1. Various image settings and Film Simulation modes can be altered.
Use Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® or Adobe® Photoshop® CC to process your RAW files and save them as JPEG, TIFF, etc. on your computer. It allows more refined or bolder adjustments than the in-camera RAW Converter and maintains the use of Film Simulation modes.
The FUJIFILM X-H1 features in-camera RAW conversion capability. RAW conversion can be performed in the field without a computer. Exposure compensation, white balance, image quality and other in-camera settings can all be easily changed. You can even apply a Film Simulation mode of your choice to RAW images.
FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO enables photographers to quickly and easily convert RAW files with outstanding image quality, once a camera is connected to a Mac or PC via USB cable. Exceptional image quality is retained, as the FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO system utilizes the X-Processor Pro in the camera instead of the CPU in the computer.
