Matoba replaces Adrian Clarke, who continues in his position of Managing Director of FUJIFILM Electronic Imaging Europe GmbH in Kleve and will keep his position as SVP Electronic Imaging for FUJIFILM Europe.
In his previous position Matoba was President of FUJIFILM Canada Inc., based in Toronto. Before that he was in managerial positions of the Photo Imaging Division of FUJIFILM North Amercia Corporation, USA, and of FUJIFILM Corporation in Japan.
“We have a wealth of technologies in Photo Imaging and decades of experience” says Matoba. “There is still much room to use this great potential and exploit it throughout the EMEA region. The incredible number of smartphone photos is just one example of many others.”
