Kolorcraft, one of the UK’s largest POS producers based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, confirmed on the Fujifilm stand at drupa 2016, that it placed an order for an Inca Digital Onset X3.
The machine, which is set to be installed later this year, will significantly boost Kolorcraft’s production capacity, bringing true high quality, and high volume on-demand printing to the business, enabling it to meet increasing customer demands for quicker turnaround on jobs without compromising on quality of the end product.
The Onset X3 sits at the pinnacle of productivity. Capable of an incredible 900m2/hr (180 beds/hr), the Onset X3 produces long or short run, high-quality print with superb consistency and reliability. The highest spec machine in the Onset series features 3 x CMYK ink channels plus the choice of white or orange, and 14 or 27-picolitre printheads.
Says Sean Connolly, Digital Business Development Manager, Fujifilm UK: “The Onset X Series has been very well received since its launch last year and is recognised as the benchmark for automation and productivity in industrial scale wide format printing. The speed, flexibility and robust printing capabilities offered by the X3 means it is perfectly suited to the rigorous demands placed on it by high volume producers like Kolorcraft. We’re all ready to get their new X3 installed and up and running so the company can experience true wide format performance and productivity.”
