Fujifilm presents complete line of Digital Radiography Solutions at ECR 2014

FUJIFILM Europe Medical Systems Division will highlight a new configuration of the FDR Go Flex, the latest addition to its growing portfolio of advanced digital radiography solutions at the 20th annual European congress of Radiology (ECR) which will be held from 7 to 10 March in Vienna, Austria. The newly reconfigured FDR Go Flex is a highly mobile DR imaging solution, built for maximum portability and ease of use. Consisting simply of a mobile console, portable access point and any of Fujifilm’s No linkhandler TypoScript configuration found for key tx_ffproducts_product.., the new configuration of the No linkhandler TypoScript configuration found for key tx_ffproducts_product.. affords the user even more ability to travel freely throughout the hospital. When used with the FDR Go Flex, “SmartSwitch” technology makes it possible to automatically detect X-Rays and eliminate the need for a connection to the x-ray generator. Fujifilm's new Virtual Grid is an innovative image processing tool that results in higher image contrast by reducing the influence of scatter for images where a grid is not used. By allowing users to choose the virtual 'grid ratio' depending on their preference, this processing affords each site maximum control over the quality of the final image. Consequently, the Virtual Grid avoids alignment artifacts that might be associated with a physical grid. Fujifilm continuously delivers superior image quality, responsive support and proven reliability with its family of FDR D-Evo DR detectors. These cassette-sized DR panels are available in both Gadolinium and Cesium models, so you can select the right detector to fit the exam every time. Sizes include: 24x30cm, 35x43cm and 43x43cm. “Fujifilm’s innovative solutions are helping radiology professionals, technologists and healthcare administrators overcome their complex challenges every day. We understand that reliability and ease of use are vitally important to the quality of patient care,” said Makoto Ogoda, Vice President, FUJIFILM Europe GmbH. “During this year’s ECR, Fujifilm will showcase new and exciting advances in medical imaging to bring true solutions to the customer.”
