Designed with safety in mind

Built for speed and efficiency, the FDR Go PLUS incorporates features to ensure the safety of users and patients. A touch-sensing bumper stops the system and sounds an alarm if an obstacle comes too close. The quick release brake system stops the FDR Go PLUS whenever the grip handle is released, and a special safety mode allows it to travel at a slower speed for in-room or training uses.

1) Smooth and low noise drive:

The smooth rotation of the wheels provides stress-free driving, while the collapsible column of FDR Go PLUS secures the clear front view so that the risk is reduced together with collision-sensing safety bumper. The smooth drive also suppresses the noise and provides reduced disruption even in quiet environments.

2) Compact and Lightweight System:

The FDR Go PLUS is designed to be slim so that driving to and examinations in a narrow or packed space such as the space between beds. The compact body of the unit also reduces the weight of the system, which helps more people take on board at the same time in an elevator even when users take the elevator with the unit.

3) Abundant Storage:

The abundant storage of FDR Go PLUS reduces the stress of carrying items back and forth. The storage at the back side of the unit allows storing up to 2 flat panel detectors and small accessories such as replacement batteries.

A wipe box, which is one of the indispensable items in portable X-ray where the FPD contacts multiple patients, can also be stored on the front side of the unit.

4) Inch-mover Function:

Controls on the collimator slowly move the system forward and backward, allowing precise bedside positioning without having to return to the drive handle.

5) Easy-operative Arm and Collimator:

The easy operation in arm positioning and collimation area adjustment is achieved with FDR Go PLUS.  In addition to the lock release buttons on the top of the arm handle and the lock release lock levers, the arm positioning is available with the buttons on the bottom of the arm handle. This makes easier for technologists to adjust the arm at a high position. Also, the collimation knobs located on the both side of the collimator enable to adjust collimation area even from the back side the unit.

6) Large Console Monitor:

The FDR Go PLUS is equipped with a 19inch monitor. The large monitor not only allows easy image check but also reduces the stress of touching the button which occurs with small buttons on a small monitor.

7) Status Indicator LED:

The status indicator lamps on the top of the monitor and the side of the arm illuminate or blink in response to X-ray exposure or system abnormalities, which allows a visual confirmation of the system status.

8) Calculated Dose Area Product Display Function:

The way of displaying the dose area product is selectable. A physical DAP meter is one of the options but the FDR Go PLUS also has the other option to display dose area product calculated on X-ray irradiation area and the radiography parameters.

9) FPD Holding Channel:

FDR Go PLUS has a channel to hold an FPD upright. This makes it easy to replace batteries and to bag an FPD, which is usually required in portable X-ray workflow.

10) Digital Radiography Workflow:

The digital radiography changes the workflow in portable X-ray drastically. The best benefit is that it reduces the work in developing films or reading IPs back at a developer or a CR and instant image preview is available. This greatly improves workflow by knowing the necessity of retakes without removing the detector from the bed, resulting in reducing the burden of additional travel between the patient room and station for retakes. The benefit is not limited to this and it enables to import patient and examination information from RIS and send images to PACS from the unit away from the station.

11) Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) Method:

ISS equipped indirect conversion flat panel detector, which bonds optical sensors (TFT) to the X-ray irradiation side unlike traditional flat panel detectors. ISS technology greatly suppresses scattering and attenuation of X-ray signals, creating sharp images with low doses of X-rays.


12) Noise Reduction Circuit:

The uniquely developed noise reduction circuit reduces noise in the image. In particular, granularity of low-concentration regions such as the heart and mediastinum is dramatically improved.

13) Shell-shaped Rib Magnesium alloy (SRM) Frame:

The innovative SRM frame structure with ribs increases and improves the flex resistance of the display detector, while maintaining the detector to be lightweight. The FDR D-EVO II G35, weighing only approx. 2.5kg ,  achieves 310kg* load capacity so that it bears the weight of patients even when the detector needs to be placed underneath them.

14) IPX6 Waterproofing:

Structured to prevent the infiltration of liquids, the FDR D-EVO II conforms to IPX6 and can withstand jets from any direction*. There is no need to worry that fluids such as blood or vomit could enter the device.

15) “Hydro AG+” antibacterial coating:


In clinical environment, medical equipment surface tends to have high risk for transferring germs, and it is essential to maintaining clean equipments. FDR D-EVO II introduces Hydro AG+ , a hyper-hydrophilic binder using the technologies yielded in Fujifilm and its family company Toyama chemical, allows greater antibacterial effect to  last long and prevents bacterial growth.

16) Easy-to-clean Flat Shape:

FDR D-EVO II introduces a flat design with few contours, making it easy to clean, promoting more efficient work.

17) Virtual Grid image processing:


Virtual Grid is an image processing software that corrects for the effects of scatter radiation that otherwise reduce image contrast and clarity. Without the need for an anti-scatter grid, this software quickly creates high quality images, resulting in the reduction of risk for asymmetric density due to grid cutoff by incorrect positioning of the detector and grid.

18) Dynamic Visualization II image processing:


State of the art recognition algorithms automatically adjust contrast and density for individual body parts based on calculation of estimated 3D image data. The processing, for instance, provides improved detection and display of the skin edge and outline of lumber spine in patients with increased thickness, or improved control of the density and contrast in areas with overlapping tissue for clearer observation of artificial joint replacements.
