ECR 2017: Fujifilm presents Expanded Digital Imaging portfolio

28.02.2017

FUJIFILM Europe Medical Systems will showcase the new FDR SMART X series of DR Imaging solutions, a comprehensive line up of floor and ceiling mounted digital x-ray rooms that combine advanced dose-saving features in detector engineering with the components you need to enhance workflow and improve the patient experience.  The 23rd annual European Congress of Radiology will be held March 1-5 2017 at the Austria Center, Vienna.

“The FDR SMART X series provides cost effective General Radiographic Imaging without sacrificing workflow or image quality” said Richard Cahalane, DR Product Manager, FUJIFILM Europe.  “The simple, affordable,  scalable series of floor and ceiling mounted system combines a host of high end features including  LCD rotating, tube head controls, in bucky charging, auto-tracking and integrated X-ray and acquisition console with Fujifilm’s proven advances in digital radiography imaging panel technology.”

FDR SMART series delivers a user-friendly, smart workflow for busy imaging professionals. The series of floor and ceiling mounted systems are designed to provide flexible and adaptable solutions to match the developing and changing needs of the modern imaging department. The system offers the low dose acquisition capabilities of Fujifilm’s FDR D-EVO II, ISS and noise reduction circuitry, combined with Virtual Grid image processing software which allows acquisition of images without a physical grid — reducing dose techniques by as much as 50%.  FDR SMART X Series encompasses additional features including motorized tilting wall stand and an extensive range of generator options to meet any power requirement with UPS and capacitor generator options for sites with problematic power supply and more traditional, line generators for those requiring a higher powered system.

Fujifilm’s Value from Innovation is challenging the way general x-ray workflow and diagnostics are provided. By providing a comprehensive range of Advanced DR panels and X-Ray system solutions Fujifilm is affording Imaging departments and centers the ability to choose the system that best fits their current needs while retaining the flexibility to move to new technologies as they emerge.

The Fujifilm booth at ECR is located at the Austria Center Vienna, Expo X3.
