Hannah Grieve was recently awarded the Fujifilm Medical Systems Award for Academic Excellence at Queen Margaret University (QMU) at the 2017 graduation ceremony at Usher Hall, Edinburgh. The university runs undergraduate programmes in Diagnostic Radiography and Therapeutic Radiography, and the Fujifilm Award goes to the graduate acheiving the top academic result across both specialities.
"I am very honoured to have received this award and really pleased that all my hard work over the past four years has paid off” said Hannah. “I am looking forward to beginning my career as a Therapeutic Radiographer at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Greater London, and excited to see where this constantly advancing profession takes me."
“We are delighted to be supporting academic excellence at QMU again this year” said Adrian Waller, General Manager of Fujifilm Medical Systems UK. “Fujifilm recognise the importance of inspiring young people in our industry, both from a radiography background and from other disciplines. Our graduate recruitment programme continues to expand and we’re proud to be encouraging new graduates both in house and through academic awards. Congratulations to Hannah on her award and we wish her well for her career at Mount Vernon.”
