The Blackheath Hospital is a 68 bed acute general hospital situated across two sites in the heart of Blackheath village. It is part of BMI London, which has 15 hospitals and outpatient clinics spanning the capital.
BMI London responds to the diverse medical needs of London's population providing diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitative care across a full range of acute and chronic conditions.
The new FCR Capsula single plate CR reader will support BMI Blackheath Hospital’s Orthopaedic service, in particular Mr A. F Groom who has a keen interest in limb reconstruction.
This installation also included the FCR IP Long Leg Cassette and a mobile long view grid holder, so the orthopaedic clinic now has its own dedicated CR reader featuring automatic stitching software that enables the display of the entire spine or lower extremities on a single image.
