Fujifilm is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare, with a range of constantly evolving, clinically proven, products and technologies designed to assist medical professionals perform efficiently and effectively. The company are pleased to announce the appointment of Opey Olorunlero as Network Systems Product Manager.
Opey joined Fujifilm in June 2013, and brings over six years of business development, account management and project management experience to the role. He has previously held positions with Ardeo plc, Cypher IT and GE Healthcare, during which time he has managed over 70 NHS accounts and several Private Sector accounts.
Opey has a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from London South Bank University, and secured an industrial placement with GE Healthcare in his gap year. During this time, Opey gained extensive knowledge and experience of PACS technology, and stayed with GE Healthcare beyond his placement, and was promoted to PACS & RIS System Integration and Data Migration Specialist.
In addition, Opey produced a 150-page research document on the success and failures of the LSP PACS and RIS rollout as part of the NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT) implementation in England during his final Degree year.
Commenting on his appointment, Opey said: “I was looking to join a thriving Healthcare IT organisation with great future prospects in the UK market, so this position with Fujifilm was exactly what I was looking for. PACS is an expanding area of Fujifilm’s business, and with my comprehensive commercial and technical expertise in Imaging Informatics, I’m looking forward to getting involved and becoming a key member of the Fujifilm team.”
Opey is a football enthusiast and also enjoys playing tennis, training with his local track & field team, and working out at the gym.
