Birmingham, UK: The 2012 Focus on Imaging
show will give UK consumers their first chance to see and try the highly anticipated Fujifilm X-Pro1 - along with the wider FinePix spring range of cameras.
As a further highlight, Fujifilm has been working with 3 photographers who will be discussing their early experiences of using pre-production models of the X-Pro 1, at a series of presentations held throughout the show. Fujifilm X-Pro1 – Setting new standards for image resolution and style
Undoubtedly one of the most exciting cameras at the show will be the Fujifilm X-Pro1. Offering photographers the combination of the quality associated with Fujifilm’s X-series along with the versatility of the Fujinon XF interchangeable lens system.
The X-PRO 1 may be a classic by design but it also packs the very latest technology to set the new standard for compact interchangeable lens cameras.
Three Fujinon XF lenses will be available at launch and each will work with the innovative hybrid viewfinder, first seen in the X100, to give the user the best of both worlds and ultimate control over the scene they’re setting. The lenses are connected via the innovative X-Mount to give a very short back focus length, reducing light loss and maximising lens performance.
The APS-C 16M ‘X-Trans’ sensor is equally impressive, using a revolutionary colour filter array it tackles both moiré and false colours to produce outstanding image quality without the need for an optical low-pass filter.
